Is this cheaper that mot1 and if so where can i get this from?

Yes its cheaper. Builders merchants supply it but I was told 10 tons is the minimum load. I've just been billed £332.09 incl VAT for 20 tons. Be aware though that it's not to MOT1 standard, you will find some larger lumps of stone in it.
I used it for my garage raft foundation but I'm not sure what the experts would say about the quality compared with MOT1.
I'm only a raw DIYer.

anything bigger than 30mm to dust will be a right pain in the ass to shovel.
