hi

I am wanting to put a proper floor in the attic. i know what length i need

4mtr. but what width and depth should i be looking at it will have to take your normal bedroom furniture and a shower may be bath.

200mm x 50mm c16 joists at 400mm c/c.

solid bridging at centre span.

How do I get these 200mm deep joists in at the eaves?

And the one after that ....

Will the person in the loft burn to death if there is a fire on the landing?
