Floor joist

Hi

i am about to order some floor joists what dimensions should i be ordering.

The total floor span is 7.10mtr with a wall in between at 3.10mtr.

any help would be appreciated.

Is the wall between a load bearing one ? ( hope so )

assuming the other span will be 4m then 50mm x 195mm C16 or 75mm x 170mm at 400mm centers will do you . If the true span is 7m then

These sizes are for normal domestic floor joists with no account for any special loadings.

This isn't for the loft then, as those were only 4m long

Alex if this is for a loft conversion get specialist advice, dont rely on a forum.
Loft conversions are not really to be messed with for diy.
