drainage - getting rid of slabs

Is there a danger of causing damage to foundations if i get rid of paving flags round the house and put grass in?

At the moment the water flows away from the house over 3m distance from the wall. The whole floor area is paved.

If i only leave 1m of paving round the house will the different drainage arrangements cause a problem?

no they will not cause a problem.

continual rain however will effect houses built on clay regardless of localised paving, especially if this wet spell is followed by a drought.
