brick edging to new lawn

Hi everybody,

just in the planning stage of putting a new lawn down in the back garden and want to frame with a row of house bricks to give a clean edge.
Am i best to put the edging down first,cementing in etc and turf afterwards or the other way round any help greatly appreciated,

I would do the brickwork first, it will give you a level to work from when you level the soil.
Allow 25mm for the depth of the turf.
And ensure your bricks are frostproof, because if they're not it could look a bit of a mess after a few winters.

And ensure your turf is slightly higher than your bricks, so your lawn mower blade doesnt catch on them.

Paving Blocks would look better and last longer than Housebricks.
