Hi everybody,

just in the planning stage of putting a new lawn down in the back garden and want to frame with a row of house bricks to give a clean edge.
Am i best to put the edging down first, cementing in etc and turf afterwards or the other way round any help greatly appreciated,
cheers

I would do the brickwork first, it will give you a level to work from when you level the soil.
Allow 25mm for the depth of the turf.
And ensure your bricks are frostproof, because if they're not it could look a bit of a mess after a few winters.

And ensure your turf is slightly higher than your bricks, so your lawn mower blade doesnt catch on them.
