DIY Electric propagator

I wanted to buy an electric propagator, but these seem quite small.

How easy is it to make a DIY type, with a timber frame and some heating cables within a sand base.

Does anybody have any thoughts / comments on such a proposal .. ie diy as against a shop bought propagator

I don't think it would be too difficult.The frame would be simple enough to make, plus, soil warming cables are readily available. A nice little project.
