In my loft I have studded out the wall what divides the two houses. I have insulated with lagging and am going to put a 6 mm vapour barrier then plaster board.

What I need to know is at the top of the wall what meets the roof there is a draft there coming through the felt.

Shall I leave this to let behind the new wall breathe or seal it as its a internal dividing wall ?

is your roof traditionally ventilated or does it have breathable felt?

also, i take it you are converting the loftspace?is that right?

This draft is more than likely coming from eaves vents, therefore the wall should be fully sealed. Roof ventilation should not be mixed with ventilation to habitable spaces.
