Hi,

I live in an old cottage and it has traditional lime plaster on the walls.

As the plaster has 'blown' in various areas and i wonder if someone can tell me if I can remove the small areas of 'blown' plaster, patch it back in and then plaster the whole wall using multi-finish?

Can someone help me?

Thanks

remove the loose, cracked plaster, brush over with pva, and level fill with bonding plaster.
then pva the whole wall let it dry pva again let it go tacky then a skim coat of multi with a second coat to finish...........hope you have plastered before!

Hi alastair

As for plastering, I have done a basic course so can plaster just about!?!

Cheers
