Adding roofspace in pitch of garage

I have a garage with electric doors that looks something very similar to this:

The roof has a huge open space and i was thinking of putting some boarding down in the back half of the garage together with an extending loft ladder to make use of the space (and reduce the clutter in the garage).

The roof of the garage is tiled so I am slightly worried that putting a partial floor and things in the roof would be too much of a load on the beams.

Thoughts?

What is the size of the floor beams and their span?

Any chance of a photo of the roof space?
