My commiserations, we have plenty of the damn stuff growing in the garden. Roots go down miles and nothing seems to touch it!
If you do go the weedkiller route you will have to beat it with a cane or something to try and break the main stem struture apart otherwise the weedkiller just runs off and does not do anything.
We are moving house in a couple of week so I will not have to deal with it again!
