Painting concrete fence posts and gravel boards

just wondering whether this will look a mess? what kind of paint will I use? what is the best colour - off white? grey? :?:

Painted mine in dulux weathershield white and they look much better than the concrete grey. Just apply 2 coats with a brush

Have a look at multi surface paint. If you have any queries, the people at Bedec are very down-to-earth and I found them well worth talking to.

an alternative is to use a dark brown masonry paint to match the stain on the woodwork. Then it tones in like wooden posts

note that I found the concrete very hungry, and gave it two mist coats (paint diluted with water) before applying it unthinned

They are easier to paint before being fixed (touch up any scratches after)
