Hello,

I'm looking to fit a bathroom extractor above the shower and want to avoid going through a wall with the exhaust.

Whats the view on an fitting a vented roof tile, my bathroom guy wasn't keen and suggested the extractor might not have the legs for it?

I want to be as sympathetic to the building as possiible without building up future problems...

Thanks, Davey

Fitting a Tile Vent is easy, it's generally one out, one in; fitting a slate vent is more of a specialist job.

You need to find what type of tile you have and get a vent tile from a roofing merchant.

It's nonsense to say your extractor might not cope, provided you install the vent as near as possible above the extractor it will be more efficient in removing the steam.
