I have seen many people using petrol operated vacuums to clean guttering and I am interested in making one. Has anyone got any idea what is required to make this on a budget. I can manage most of it but I am unsure about what parts would be needed for the engine/vacuum side of things and how to attach the engine to the vacuum component.

Any ideas or knowledge would be helpful!

Thanks

Cheaper to buy one. But vacuums don't get the heavy caked in silt from the gutter, only loose leaves and stuff.

Go to your local tip  there`s always loads of petrol mowers and dysons there -rig one up to the other

Nice one, Nige. That idea is worthy of my dear departed dad!
