roof and wall drafts

i have a 4 year house and the porch to the front has a vent in the of the tiles as well as sofit vents when the weather goes cold the porch is frezzing and if we get wind you can feel the draft coming through the inside wall is there any thing i can doto stop this as am wasting money on heating :cry:

If it is a 'porch' in the true sense of the word then it does not necessarily require heating, as it is deliberately kept separate from the habitable dwelling and is performing as porches do.

So, being draughty is not such a bad thing.

If however you intend this space to be heated/habitable.......?

no its part of the house with down stairs bathroom as well

If this roof is covering habitable heated space then there needs to be 280mm of fibreglass quilt insulation laid above the ceiling. The air space above this quilt will need venting and should not affect the room below.
