I've noticed 3 or 4 tiles from my slate roof have slipped and ended up in the gutter, luckily for me they are are very close to the bottom and easy to get to. Also got a hole in the eaves where an old boiler flue went up, none seem to cause any kind of a problem, but I wouldnt mind getting them sorted anyhow.

I intended to repair the slipped slates with jenny clips but had a couple of questions.

1. Who is the cheapest for clips? I've seem them at £20 for 10 pairs, seems a bit expensive for a couple of bits of aluminium, but if this is the going rate fair doos.

2. How would you put the holes in the slates, normal drill? or would a proper punch be required.
