DYSON - No suction on attachment

My dyson is operating well on normal operation, but when I pull out tube - this does not have any suction. Can you help? [/img]

Could be the extension pipe has a split in it, prob near the base. or the rubber flaps underneath aren't closing.
Hope this helps.
New extension pipes can be bought from Dyson direct.
