Eaves Tiles - Angle

I have just nearly finished tiling my extension and noticed I 'may' have not quite got the level of the bottom of the first row of tiles right.
The first row of tiles are sitting at a slightly more sloped angle than the rest, this is down to me not supporting them high enough so they are as if they are sitting on a batton + tile and instead just used a single batton height i.e. I have not....

"The height of the board or fillet above the top of the rafter should equal the combined height of the batten and one thickness of interlocking tiles. "

Is this going to be a major problem? The roof is around 26 degrees. Do I need to have a play with the baton the final first row of tiles are to bring it up?

The bottom row of tiles usually kick up a little heigher than the others by around half an inch to an inch (depending on pitch)

Perhaps the others can help as to exactly why etc...

You seem to have diagnosed the problem fine. Whether you want to fix it is up to you - It's really a matter of aesthetics. You seem to have a decent rake on the roof and as long as your felt and sarking is OK I doubt you'll have a problem.
Roofs like yours, though, always remind me of Concorde coming in to land...

yeah i think the roof will work fine and due to it being such a low pitch its not resulted in the first row being too sloped such that the water would run off at a silly speed.

Annoyingly to move it up would be quite a bit of hastle and also make the facia even bigger which I am trying to avoid as its already quite large, a good 300mm

Does look a bit like concorde tho

To create the 'kick' that the first course of tiles requires, due to the obvious lack of tiles below, is to extend the fascia about 40mm (perpendicular to the rafter) above the the rafter top. If using over-fascia vents then you would need to reduce the fascia depth accordingly.

After a bit of playing around I have managed it so they are sitting at the same angle as the rest of the tiles so job done.
