overhanging wood
Reply with quote Thanks

This is an unusual one, my next door neighbour has long pieces of wood crossing over into my garden over a wall, as you can imagine this is very unsightly and is very annoying. What can I do? Is this situation like trees and plants and can I just cut the overhanging wood? I believe he is doing this just to get on my nerves due to previous problems, so I cant just have a chat with him.

heeelllooo and welcome bcook31 icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

i assume its fixed!!!

i would write a letter and post it through the door

"i dont know if you are aware off it but you timber extend into my garden
could you please move it onto your property or if it would be more convenient i can cut it off and leave the offcut for you collection

if i don't hear from you by the 7th off november i will assume you want me to chop off the overhang and return it to your property"

post a second letter a week before the deed reiterating the date and actions
