ive tried lots of different fixings for plasterboards and find most of them crap to be honest if and its a big IF you were to use one id say the fischer fixing is the best you have to buy the applicator gun seperatley for it to be really effective they sell them at screw fix or tool station i tried using the fischer fixing and just tried to tighten it with the screw thats included but it wasnt very effective but then my friend used them and used the proper gun to fix it into the board and it held a toilet cistern on the wall no problems but the gun isnt cheap! ok if you have a lot of pictures!

If it's brick behind these will work;
http://www.screwfix.com/prods/68502/Fixings/Frame-Fixings/Rawlplug-Frame-Fixings-10-x-120mm-Pack-of-50?cm_re=SEARCHPROMO-_-FRAME%20FIXING-_-68502
The link is just for info, you won't need them that long; B&Q also sell small packs in various lengths but make sure they are of a suitable size for the load & long enough to give you at least 50mm into the brick; check for cables & pipes before drilling.
