chimey leaking into bedroom, please help!!!!!!

we have just had our chimney swept and have had our first open fire of the season. all was well until we went upstairs to our daughters bedroom adn we were hit by a really strong smell of the fire!!!! there was no smoke but the smell was quite strong. does anyone know how to resolve this and if it is very dangerous??????

Hi. You are right it can be dangerous. There are chimney people who would advise. The likely cure being line the chimney. Good Luck
