Ideal Isar
Customer phoned to say boiler display as gone off and boiler no longer working in heating or hot water modes. fuses have been checked and there is 240v at boiler terminals. Any idea's

What model Isar is it? HE or M series? Make a good check of boiler for water leaks too. AAV on M series can drip down onto connecting cable from PCB to user control and short board.

Went to have a look today, Isar24HE 3 years old this month. 240v either side of rocker switch, 240v going to main PCB but no display and nothing working, Spoke to tech they said its main board, I've checked resistance across fan 110 ohms they said thats ok so just replace board. phoned curzons been quoted £130 plus vat so back tomorrow and hope it does the job the customer is 76years old and p****d off.

They had best get used to it, wont be the last time they need a repair.

changed the PCB today boiler is now workig but what a job getting PCB into the 2 brackets at either side I must of been doing something wrong really struggled

You probably got the alloy "elbows" round the wrong way they are handed
