Does anyone know where I can buy a curved radiator for my bedroom baywindow. I have found 1 company based in London for a 2800x600 single curved rad they are asking £350 + vat.
Cheers

Thats doesn't seem a bad price.

If you want out of the ordinary your'e gonna have to pay for it.

Your'e not going to find a decent flat rad of that size for much under £200.

Good luck in beating the price you've already found but I bet the people selling them are barely squeaking by.

The cheapest will be outside of London for starters.

Nearly every town has someone that will bend the radiator to you're template, and it's unlikely a ready bent one would fit anyway.

Do a google for bending rads and I bet there's two or three in Manchester.

Thanks for the help I just got 1 for £260 plus vat company called Shiv Radiators based in london had to reduce the size at touch to keep in budget but happy with the deal. Template was easy to do just pull the carpet back and draw around it on a roll of wall paper.
Cheers :D

Whilst they were all the rage during the 1970s they are rather out of fashion and not really necessary nowadays.

With current thermally efficient double glazed windows the need for fitting a rad under a window is no longer virtually essential and I have never heard any complaints when the rad is fitted to one side of the window.

Cheers Tony,
To be honest it more to do with where it is convenient (ie the only window) and where it looks best in the room.

Just note that they are pretty heavy and difficult to man handle and mount on a wall due to their offset centre of gravity.
