hi all, I've had a problem for the last year or so in one of the bedrooms of my house. The plaster is being blown off the walls in patches and also have salty bubbly patches in places.
The walls are cavity walls and the outside of the house is tyrolene rendered. I am presuming that the source of the water ingress is unlikely to be from the walls so am turning my attention to the roof. I am the gable end house of a terraced row, and have noticed some mortar is missing from the verge. How likely is it that this is the source? What are other possible sources? Any ideas would be appreciated.
