I have had velux roof windows fitted in my loft conversion. I think my tiles are 'plain' tiles and I think the kit they used is EDZ or EDW (round the edge it has a channel, then a lip and then a sponge line). Is this OK? The tiles seem to lift a lot and are sitting on the lip rather than butting-up flush against it.
Can anyone advise if this is normal or are there going to be problems down the road as I think the correct kit would be EDP?
If you know what problems this may cause I would be grateful to hear. Thanks

EDP is specifically for plain tiles. EDZ can be used ith plain tiles too. There are thousands of windows around fitted with EDZ before the EDP was available.
A little care taken when fitting will stop the lifting. The tiles should butt against the upstand ,not ride over it.
Ask the guys to do this and it'll be fine.
