Hole in roof plywood and felt.

Hi,

I have discovered in my loft that part of the plywood in my roof has came into my loft and there is a hole in the felt also meaning i can touch my roof slates from inside my loft which looks like i now have a touch of dampness in the loft, how could i fix this without getting a guy in to rip the wallet right off me!!! :D . had insurance guy out that said no tile damage and it would cost near 800 to get it fixed. any help welcome

get a good local builder capable or repairing a small patch if thats all required.
 
Is the 'touch of dampness' directly related to the hole in the felt? What are the signs of moisture? internal condensation is a problem this time of year and can cause dampness in the loft.
