Efflourescence on clay roof tiles

There is white efflouresence on the underside of my roof tiles (1930 original roof).
My surveyor's report when I bought the house said : "there are indications of deterioration through the effects of efflourescent salts. This defect is an inherent one which eventually causes the supporting nibs to break away...at present this defect is not of a serious nature..."
As far as I can tell, the roof is not leaking.

I am considering either replacement of tiles with split ends or a new roof.
Does anyone experienced have a comment please?

I can't see that there is anything wrong with those tiles from that photo TBH and if it's not leaking best to leave well alone. If you have any broken tiles (assuming this is what you mean) just get those replaced, be a damn site cheaper

Efflorescence causes no problem, it is delamination that causes the tile to break up
