Concealed Cistern Flush Handle Lengths?

Hey all,

Im needing to buy a concealed toilet cistern...was planning to just fit it directly to the wall with no frame. Then boxed in with a shelf above it etc..

My question is whats the maximum length you can get the flush handle/button i.e how long can you get the rod/wire away from the cistern as the fron of the panelling maybe abit out from the back wall?

Hope that makes sense, iv no idea with what to buy

I bought a concealed cistern a month or so ago, a Macdee one I think. I'm sure the handle was 300mm long, and I cut it to length

Lever handles usually upto 300mm but if you go with push button then 520mm for the torbeck variflush
