We're thinking about putting a saniflow in a add on bathroom. The plumbing is no problem for me, but the electrics could be. The unit uses electric, so presume you put a fused spur near the toilet but how far away from the shower/bath does it have to be. Does it need to be on an RCD. or can i put a spur off the upstairs ring. Is fitting a spur permitted in a bathroom? icon_question.gif

If at all possible, don't bother, they may be ok in a caravan but not in a house. Horrible things.

Doesn't need to be on an RCD in my opinion, how often are you gonna be touching it anyway, though there may be regs that say it must be on an RCD i dont know i havent swallowed a reg book.

Fit a FCU outside the bathroom, not inside.
