pull up bar

hello
i bought a chin up bar that i could fit on a door way frame how ever the frame is far too small.

i was looking for advice for fitting it on the passageway on plasterboard.

will it hold? im abt 80 kgs,

your help is appreciated.

4x1" par timber approximatly 1m long to fit over 3 studs assuming they are at 400 centres with a bit extra incase the other wall studs are slightly different position

lay the timber on the floor find the 3 studs each side move the timber untill the centres are opposit and on or equal distance from the centre stud
secure to the studs with no 10x3"[ 5mmx 80mm] 2 on each off the three studs at the required height

the above assumes normal timber studs of around 4x2" at 400mm centres
