After numerous requests we have setup a new forum section that only registered gas fitters can access to discuss issues that aren't suitable for unqualified eyes to read!

The new section is free to use but to ensure only qualified gas fitters access the forum, members will be pre-approved.

So if you would like access, please complete the application form here.

PS if you are a retired gas fitter please contact me here for details on how to gain access.

Update: The backlog has now been cleared, so in the unlikely event I have missed you and you haven't heard from me you will need to apply again here.

The corgi/gas safe registration / serial numbers entered in order to gain access to the RGI only forum are kept private, only I see them in order to verify RGI status. If you really wanted to email it you could, but it doesn't make much difference to be honest.

As an aside, sometimes no checks/approvals are possible, if their website is down icon_sad.gif

Where is the combustion chamber forum? I have had the email saying I'm in but can only find plumbing & heating? I am pretty naf at IT but it seems impossibly difficult to find this forum and the supposed intellectual banter that supports it? Are you the administrator or a moderator? I have no idea how to get any help

Can't see "combustion chamber" anywhere in the forum lists of the first link and the 2nd link says that the forum I'm looking for doesn't exist.

Any thoughts?

I am in the process of completing my second year of the 6012 nvq in gas installation and maintainance, and will hopefully be getting registered in the summer. I do find the forum very helpful, and the gas section would be of huge benefit to me in my training. is there any way to sign up before registration or do i have to wait?

regards

At the time of writing (typing), all applications have been processed.

Iceter, I have just emailed you.

Abz, I see you're sorted now.

suntanneddude69, you need to enter your individual card license/serial number as well as your company no.

We don't have Gas Safe, or whatever that's called, in Canada.

I guess I can't join in. icon_confused.gif
