Fixing fence posts to concrete path

Hi

I'm looking to secure a 3ft high fence to a concrete path and was gonna use the metpost system but have heard it isnt very sturdy under high winds...so if I use a Kango and knock up some of the concrete how much do I take up and what is then the best way to secure the posts into the ground.

Do you live in a windy location? 3 foot high isn't particularly high, the question is, how thick the existing concrete?

The area is between 2 houses and acts as a bit of a wind tunnel at times also the concrete was laid by the council years ago so im guessing its only 3-4 inches at best

for a 3 feet high post you want to get at least a foot underground, but more would be better. concrete them in

but how wide should I make the hole? As wide as if I was putting the post into soil? Bearing in mind that this concrete path runs onto the neighbours side too
