Hiya guys, I have a panasonic wj-hd500. That works ok. Recently we had our cars vandelised by my old boss. We can identify him.
This has brought up a massive problem with getting the images off the recorder. We have done it know. but I decided as it was old tech to upgrade.
So off to the bay I went and bought 1 of these

I was bidding on a panasonic wj-hd316. but missed out.
Now the mitsi is not as easy/nice to use as the hd500. but its not bad. whilst looking for cameras I spotted a wj-hd316 going cheap and managed to grab for just over £300. bargain.
This brings me to my problem.
The recorded images from the 316 are terrible I'm amazed at a unit that you can still buy for over £4k would look so bad. So I have just lost a whole day today trying various different settings but no different.
The live pics are spot on. just the recorded ones are pixelated. For instance my car up my drive you can read the number plate live but recorded its just a blur.
Any ideas
Matt
