I'm about to start wiring up my own alarm system.

What does End of Line mean?

My panel gives 8 zones as 4 wire. 16 zones as 2 wire. And also 16 zones as 2 wire EOL.

What's the difference. Sorry for the question, but I'm confused?

EOL means it uses resistors. You have 2 for power. You then have either 2 for alarm and 2 for tamper, or 2 for both tamper and alarm.

What alarm panel do you have?
