trianco oil fired boiler

Hi guys
Just wondered if any of you guys could help,I have trianco tro 12/14 boiler and just fired it up to check everythings ok for winter,but alas no,after 10>15 mins hot water & steam came out of the pipe over the expansion tank so I turned it off.Sus thermostst or may be oil cut off valve can you help. Cheers

Stat may be dodgy, could also be that your circulating pump has broken

Cheers muggles for reply. Had new pump fitted a couple month ago and power flush so may be you are right. would you happen to know what stat would do the job, also where I could get one. Cheers again

The original was a Teddington TBB these are no longer made, but if you take the old one to a spare part merchant they should be able to repolace it with a Ranco C26 with a suitable phial
