I'd like to think our house is pretty secure, all apart from 2 sash windows, both at the back of the house; 1 ground level, the other on the 1st floor.
I'd like to have an alarm fitted to the windows, and then an alarm box fitted to the side of the house.
Is this a job for the professionals, or could I attempt it myself, or, could I wire it all up and then get an electrician to finish it off?
I'm not too bothered about it being compliant for any insurance policy or anything, just enough to alert me if I'm in bed.
