I have recently purchased a property that has a gardtec 593 alarm installed. The last owner has left the user instructions but has not left any codes whatsoever and as I purchased from an auction then I have no way of finding the last owners!. The panel is in unset mode and does not look an old system. Is there anyway of finding out the code or anyway of resetting the system from scratch?

Yes. But with a system of unknown condition, it is best to get an alarm engineer to come and service it, and reset it for you. Maybe £100-150, but well worth it to know you have a working system.

joe-90 - if anywhere in west mids then the job is yours! I have tried an engineer but does not seem to have the engineers codes that are required. Maybe i will just install a new alarm.

London here Joe, bit pricier here.
Just noticed op is midlands.

Out of contract. Non Contract get higher charges, and no 4 hour responce.
