Sterling 10 tamper alarm.

I am about to decorate my lounge and tried to remove the alarm code pad from the wall and the tamper alarm sounded.

I entered the engineers code to stop it, but every time I try to remove the pad the alarm goes off again.!

Does anyone know how to get around this? Or any ideas on what I can do?

in one of the earlier posts you wrote that you bought the engineering manual for the Sterling 10. My system set itself back to factory setting. Do you think the manual could help me to get going again?
