Hi all

I have had sky hd+ fitted downstairs and now want to put my freesat hd
in the bedroom.
From reading some previous posts i had a look at the dish and there is 4
ports on it,the outer 2 being used for sky.
My question can i connect a lead and to one of the middle ones to run into the bedroom and connect my freesat hd up?
If so what connectors would i need?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can connect a lead (or two ) to the unused outlets on the LNB

I would connect two leads and run them in to the house even if you dont need the second one now you might in the future and as you are up the ladder....

You will need F connectors to connect the cable to the LNB and as for how to fit them see here

http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/fconn.htm

also buy and use good quality satellite cable ie WF100 available from the same site

and dont forget to weatherproof the connections

Yes, you need F connectors and appropriate sattelite grade coax (I reccomend the foam filled stuff because water can't travel along it).

Remember if your freesat HD box is twin tuner you will need two feeds to it from the dish.
