Please could someone help I have had a chrome towel radiator fitted in my bathroom and it appears to be leaking a sticky brown substance. The radiator is 2 years old have just had a new boiler fitted and they all run in conjuction with a Santon Premier plus unvented hot water mains pressure system.

The substance is the hot water, often brown or rusty in colour.

Find out where it's leaking and fix it. If it's leaking from a joint, tighten it. If it's leaking from the vent, tighten it. If it's leaking through the wall of the radiator, replace the radiator.

If you take a pic we can give more accurate advice.

BTW, if it didn't leak before the new boiler, chances are a new pump has increased pressure. If it's an adjustable pump, try turning it down.

Surprised you don't say not WRAS approved so not able to do as DIY
