hi have you closed all the tampers ? as the keypad will seem dead untill tampers are clear then press reset !

Okay so the systems "locked out" due to a fault somewhere. Was the keypad working before you opened the panel??.
If all was ok befor you opened the lid there will only be 1 tamper which is the lid, check the spring and try again.
Could be the battery, as this acts as a big smoothing capacitor on these panels and a duff one can make them lock out.
