optimaXL6 alarm help

hi guys im new here and require some help
i have an optima xl6 alarm but when i set it it keeps beeping even when im out of the house
my neighbor tells me she can here it beeping long after im out
any ideas thanks ?

Check the display when setting , what ever is causing the beeps should be displayed by the leds.It could be zone 1 for example , led 1 will light until the door/zone is closed.

Agreed, sounds like an open zone.

Also, never just set your alarm, lock your door and walk away, wait for the system to set.
