did the installing company suggest that you had them changed???
they should have done!!!

the new ones will look much nicer in you newly decorated house as well!!

Thanks for that. Yes, they are probably 20 years old, from my previous alarm installation. The panel is just over a year old and the engineer said as long as I was happy that the sensors worked, leave them be.

Looks like I need to spend money, but new sensors won't solve my decorating problem. I am due to decorate another room in a couple of months so will presumably have same problem. Will speak to installers today
