Any advise would be appreciated, I have returned from holiday to find the blue light on the front of the house flashing. This is part of an alarm system the previous owner installed. It is an SL Compact alarm which I have deduced is the same as an ADE Optima XM. We have never used it or known the codes.
While away there was a power cut that I am guessing has set this off in some way, although the power has been off before and nothing has happened.
What I would like to do is firstly stop the light flashing and secondly disconnect the alarm altogether, but without risking setting it off.
