Washing machine soap dispenser

I have a hot point washing machine model number WF340 but no manual. Can anyone answer the very basic question of where the detergent goes and where the fabric softener goes? Thanks.[/b]

Thanks. Yes I did download a manual. Actually found the one you kindly sent a link to before i put up my post but the detail wasn't sufficient to answer my query. Just labelled the drawer as detergent dispenser.

I can't remember what your drawer is like but some of them have numbers or other symbols moulded into the plastic. My Servis has 1, 2 and a flower symbol for the fabric conditioner. 1 is prewash, 2 is main wash. The conditioner one will also be designed to hold liquid and have a syphon arrangement to drain it after the conditioner rinse.
