Hi, looking to buy a new condensing boiler, looked at umpteen bro hures and various stockists all saying different models are better, from gloworm, baxi, bosh, potterton vaillant, ideal, please could an independent plumber or whatever advise, WHICH IS THE BEST, we have a 20 year old vaillant at the moment which has been reliable so thought go for same, although they are quite expensive but wnen your going to rely on an applliance for say 10 years or so plus for your heating price doesn't really come into it, I would go for same but have read some bad reports on the new eco teks, then again they all have there glitches, so which is the best, thank you.

intergas seem a very popular choice for many installers on here ?

WB , Vaillant = loads of plastic ?

Ideal have a track record of boilers that were /are turkeys , the Bernard Mathews of the boiler industry (may be ?) :)

You say you want to buy a new boiler!

But there is no mention of whoever is to fit it.

Many would say you should select an installer and ask their advice when they have met you, seen how many live there and the size of the property.
