Hi Guys,

I have 22mm pipes coming to my bath taps. I will be installing a shower on those 22mm pipes. I will not be installing a pump as the pressure is quite good.

Can you please recommend a decent shower that will fit my pipes and will last for years? Something around £100-£200

Does it make sense to buy thermostatic shower? Or can I just install a standard one?

Thanks!

Whatever type it needs to be thermostatic to minimise the risk of scalding. If wall mounted I would always recommend Mira showers. They carry spares going back to the year dot so can always be fixed.

If you want a thermo valve that's easy to fix then the Aqualisa is very simple?
Crosswater use a Vernier cartridge who make some of the most precise cartridges out there?

Mira Excel

Has been around in various forms for over 40 years.

As mentioned any mira can be repaired easily if anything does go wrong.
