MK LN Bus Bar

The fork ones above are the first generation sentry, made by siemens and the other bits are part of a retrofit kit to connect the second generation finger busbar sentry mcbs into the older fork busbar units , there is a third generation since then, possibly even a fourth

forget LN parts they are the range after yours
the bar you want looks like a second generation mk5590s
Ps Its not the same as a K5590

If the screws line up you can possible install a generic forked busbar thus. This was on a Wylex board to accept a Wylex fuse carrier, which could be attached by no other means.

This photo isn't of the fuse carrier btw, but shows how the two Wylex breaker types (new and old) line up, and therefore may be bussed using the same method.

I had found a mk5590s on eBay, but the seller tells me its flat.

I do have a wylex bus bar but it would be nice to
Purchase the correct item.

In the bottom pic of the Mcbs; is the one on the left an NHX?

Proberly because its a k5590s

The 1996 catalogue cleary shows a 5590s as the L shaped bar you want.

The mains finger prong is set for mk and other makes are unlikely to be the same.

what is the part number of the board or the mcbs currently fitted

Yes it is, that's the bit I couldn't remember!

The busbar is just a generic bar from the internet, rated at 80A. The fingers fit fine on a range of breakers - there's not too much different between manufacturers when it comes to specifying screw size.

Hi
I am after a short busbar (twin finger) as described by Sureitsoff. Does any one have any off cuts I could purchase.

Sorrt I know this discussion is old.

Thanks (Sailingthewild)

Thanks MFarrow for you suggestion. I am in the process of contacting the ebay seller to see if his item is a match.

Thanks

I've got a forked busbar in the van, but it's straight, not bent at the bottom.

Like the single phase one on this link.

If you think it might fit I can measure it
