Homelite petrol hedge trimmer problem :

Engine runs OK accelerate OK Blades only move at low speed, squeeze trigger to high speed and blades do not move !!

Taken off gearbox plate no sign of any broken metal gear wheels turn ok !!

Probably a problem with the centrifugal clutch.....it's directly connected to the crankshaft, before the gearbox of the trimmer.
Failing that, you'll see a couple of connecting rods that actually connect to the blades. These mustn't have any play in their bearings or the blades won't oscillate. Unfortunately you need to get rid of all of the grease to see properly!

That makes good sense, Can this be repaired ?

or is it a spares/ repair sale

If you've taken off the bottom sole plate, can you see any metal bits floating around? This plate also supports one end of the mechanism spindle, so check that too.
See that any gears aren't missing a tooth or two at the same time!
Any parts needed here means a write off, but if you can get into the centrifugal clutch, new shoes there are viable.
Careful if you release those connecting rods I've spoken about.....they usually have tiny roller bearings that aren't captive.
