Probably. The door opening contacts are brown and yellow (single pole normally open volt-free) on the Enterview 4 outdoor unit. The gate controller will usually have a connection suitable for interfacing.
Whether it is safe to operate the gates from inside when you may be unable to see any obstruction/child is another matter.

Thanks, I'd thought of that issue and the handset is in clear line of sight of the gates, along with the mandatory photocells being installed and hate force set to low
