Just imagine in the future if all engines convert to poo power, every time you have a cr*p, you will have to pay tax on it
It's not a new idea. Back in the 60's Croydon's sewage works had its own electricity generator which was driven by an engine powered by methane gas produced on site. Spare electricity was sold to the Electricity Co. The equipment had been working from before WW2.Many large sewage works throughout the UK now have AD plants which generate methane.
Great idea the Poo Bus.. Now if Cameron was to buy one for the House of Commons, it would run forever, given the amount of crap that comes out of there.
There's been a terrible accident; the poo bus has left the road this evening, and plunged into the Avon.
Luckily, it's a floater.
I'm aware that many people have water meters and, consequently, are billed for the amount of water consumed, but how can they measure what proportion is used for flushing the toilet? On a more serious note, you may actually be measured by the flush for sewerage charges, Anglian Water bill metered customers for 90% of fresh water taken through a meter to be returned to the sewers.

As for measuring poo, is it at all possible to use an equivalent to water meters on sewerage pipes?
